Day cancelled for lack of interest
Mar. 8th, 2018 06:58 pmVery weary, though I managed some sleep in the afternoon. I think. It was that sort of semi-unconsciousness due to fatigue where it's rather hard to tell. Airport-level tiredness. So tired of inconsiderate neighbours and their noisy, untrained dogs. I'm not hugely fond of the species (people) as a whole, but have to live in a city because of work. I've even spent some time fantasy shopping at real estate sites. Renting and landlords aren't exactly my favourite things either right this minute.
I took self to a cafe where I knew they had really good apple pie and icecream, as soothers. And the coffee was all right, helping me to achieve upright locomotion with a reasonable chance of avoiding obstacles. The rat cage will have to wait until tomorrow night, which will make them happy: I'm just going to have some dinner and watch something on the laptop with a plot I can follow. In the old days I would have said the test pattern, but I'm sure Netflix will have something that fits requirements. So I've cleaned the rat loo - TMI, I know - and that will hold them. They're a lot like cats; I bring home the cleaned loo with new litter in it and somebody is waiting to hop straight in. For some reason they both like to sit there while eating pieces of dinner.
I have a short holiday planned: Swancon is at Easter so I'll attend some of that and then have a few days off to recover and hopefully enough peace and quiet to get some writing done and re-energise.
