Small But Deadly
Apr. 26th, 2015 09:58 pmI just got chomped by a mouse.
It had run up my curtains and I was able to reach up and get its tail, hoping to be able to toss it outside, but it twisted up along its own body and sank minute but sharp fangs into me two or three times before I had to let go and no, I didn't make it to the back door but at least it ran outside on its own. I don't get no respect from the wildlife.
Geez, that hurt.
Other than that, today was ok; just a ride to the now-open shops to stock up on supplies, then mess around online and play Scrabble. I know tomorrow is a public holiday but I got asked to work with the lure of double time and a half pay, so I'm doing four hours in the gulag tomorrow. That still gives me plenty of time to veg out before the RPG tomorrow evening.
There's nothing to watch on TV so I'm back on the comp, with breaks to spend time with the rats, who sniffed all over my hand, visibly wondering why I didn't give them the mouse....
