Getting back to what we call normal
Jan. 9th, 2023 09:12 pmGot my year's first haircut on the 6th so don't look quite so feral. It was a few weeks overdue, so I'd been around hospitals looking like I might have lived on the street fairly recently :-)
I last saw M on Saturday to help her out; she was fine on Sunday and the minions from Shine Services were back at work today so I can stand down some. Still haven't heard from them about the extra assistance but am familiar with what happens to a manager's inbox when they're on leave. Not expecting immediate response, shall we say.
M has told me if she goes into hospital again, she wants to go to Hollywood Hospital, not Charlie's. Yes, Charlie's is a good hospital and has more staff than Hollywood, because Hollywood, a private hospital, is stingy with pay, M told me. But they have a la carte dining for their patients. I kid you not; M would rather have the better food than the more nurses. I have sincerely now heard everything, I'm sure.
( saga of the skip bin )
I already had some lower back pain - from hospital chairs, I've told M - and plan to get a back massage, which I've saved until I did this. Oh boy, that is going to feel good. Well, eventually.
As I write, thunder and lightning began outside and now we have RAIN!
