RIP Fergus 11 April - 29 August 2014

My little minky rat Fergus died during Friday. I found him in the peg basket [hung in cage as rat nest] when I got home. He had congenital problems which showed at about three months of age so we knew it wasn't good. I'm very sad to lose such a young rat and wish I could have done more. Fergus is survived by his brother River (with me), two sisters and his mother Ivy, who was rescued by WASAR* while pregnant. He's the smaller of the two rats in the picture, with his senior friend Gil.
