Friends, Friends Abound!

One of my LJ friends was lamenting that he doesn't have much to read on his friends list anymore. Now, I hear this a LOT, from many different (LJ) quarters, and I always think, 'wow, really?' Because my friends are so active. I often find I have too much to read!
So I offered to host a friendzy for this friend. Because I would looove to share the awesome friends on my list with all the other awesome friends who are also on my list but who are not friends with each other! And also, perhaps new people will see this, and find people in the comments who are awesome, and they will make friends with each other and then some of them will go on to be lifelong friends and it will be this whole ripple-effect of friendship, and thusly, peace will come to the entire planet.
Hmm, I may be expecting a little too much from this endeavour.
Anyway. I'm hereby presenting this space to you, so that you may find each other and share stories and experiences, and that there might be cross-cultural/political/religious exchanges, and above all, a more active friends list for all. Feel free to introduce yourselves! I'll leave this post public until Friday, 5th September.
