Frogs in my pond have been doing better than I expected. It's difficult to count them, but I do know now that there are at least three tadpoles in the pond. One has arms and legs but still uses the tail as a rudder to steer it gently through the water. I think the other two are not so far along. There is one big frog from last year and at least two small ones. I've seen two outside the pond and they have different back markings so I'm sure. I've also seen a tiny frog swimming but that could be a repeat. So I'm hoping this will be a breeding population; one small group of frogs to help their species, the Motorbike Frog.
It's a hot night in Perth; sitting in the living room with the rats, TV off because there is nothing on, the back door open to the sounds of the night and what coolth it provides. I would usually be gaming but there are three no shows, so that's not happening.
