Was that a convention?
Jan. 26th, 2014 09:07 pmBrief-ish post, since I'm quite fatigued. Had breakfast and went to Genghiscon, then didn't get anything else to eat except sweets until I got home. I played some board games, most of them for the first time, and hopefully expanded my brain somewhat before it called quits.
There really wasn't much else to Genghiscon that I saw - and good luck to anybody else trying to locate it today. Extensive building sites around Trinity College and NO SIGNS made getting in a matter of guesswork. I think I made it there by around 11am and the convention itself closed at 4 pm, so that was $15 to play boardgames and get a laminated badge. If not for the postings by a friend who arrived at the college when the convention began on Friday, I wouldn't have known anything (the building) was happening.
It was good to catch up with the usual suspects.
