It's windy, overcast and suggesting it might rain, but still t-shirt weather. Perth deciding whether or not to do winter this year.

I'm back at work, which surprisingly didn't depress me too much. I've had two fairly heavy days with local daily transcripts to work on, meaning none of the other offices can help us because we need to get the transcript to the court which has ordered it by 5 pm, so anybody that can needs to stay until this is accomplished. I actually quite like this, because I can get on with the work and other people are too busy to be (very) annoying. Of course, it also means I'm too tired to write anything creative when I get home, but there's no helping that.

I've now recovered my sunglasses. Thanks very much, [livejournal.com profile] prk for taking care of them and arranging to give them back to me outside iinet today! I'd intended to do this earlier, but see above for why that didn't happen! Also, Iinet has an interesting set of doors. PUSH is written on them but nothing happens if you do; you have to press a button, which I only found out about by asking somebody. Before that, they seemed to assume I probably had a good reason of my own for scrabbling ineffectually at said doors.

Back on the lost property; 2012 committee still has three other pairs of glasses and assorted items which were lost at the con.

Other stuff today; just house-cleaning, getting rid of heaps of mouse crap and doing laundry so that I could hang it out and encourage the rain. After I finished everything, I heard one of the humane traps snap shut, so escorted yet another mouse out to be chucked over the back fence. And as I write, there goes another trap.
