A new rat has come to live here. He was welcomed by the sound of snoring from the other nine rats, this being daytime. Like them, he's a rescue, who came to Perth Rat Rescue via his owner's social worker. He wasn't being cared for or even fed well, though he must've been fed something. His condition is reasonable and he's even friendly, though wary. I'm his fosterer, though I have a bad habit of not giving back the rats I take to foster. The sixpack being a case in point.
Once he's settled, I plan to start trying to integrate him with the sixpack, at least the younger rats. He's got to pass an audition with boss rat Rolf. If Rolf accepts him, I don't think anyone else will give him a problem.
He's wild-coloured, though looks more plain brown to me than agouti (brindled) with dark eyes.
