Ah yes. I finally found the comic - the link only goes to the Dilbert web page - and yes, those are the moments. I wish it had only been a rat standing on my bed giving me the bad advice to live in the moment and stay away from the Internet, instead of two rats on opposite shoulders marking and chittering at one another!

I can see why everyone says it is so hard to do this. Certainly not impossible but most inexperienced rat owners, buying a couple of pets, won't understand that rats are hardwired for suspicion of strangers and you have to work with that instinct. Now, of course, there never was a problem according to them.
