Food is coming

I'm still sick and somewhat fuzzy.  Been going through all the known cold symptoms like they've been saved up for three years, which I guess they have.  My immunity must be for shit after three years of not having any coronavirus of any kind.  Ironically I was set to have a flu vac today but am still too sick to go.  

I'm out of supplies so have ordered a Coles groceries delivery for first time ever.  Hopefully they get it right.  The bit about substitutions is worrying but so long as some of it is as ordered.  At least this way I'm not wafting my disease around their store, even if I felt ok enough to ride, which I don't.  Not even sure I'll make it to work tomorrow but if I can't, I can't.

I've found the Coles deliveries to be pretty good when I've had them here. I hope this holds true for you.

Yes, they seem to've got it right. I heard them leave it then waited till they went away and scuttled out to get it, sniffing and blowing away.

Hang in there - it's a good excuse for lemon honey drinks!
I've been on grocery deliveries ever since they existed and mostly they do the subs intelligently, plus in my local system you can add notes to guide the pickers, like "please only sub with lemon or orange flavour, not raspberry" etc.

I think I remember reading something about how our immune systems are having to work overtime now after not being bombarded with as many germs as usual over the last 3 years due to lockdowns and masks etc. I know a couple of friends of mine have had worst colds this year than they've ever had as a result. I hope you're feeling better soon!
