RIP Percy 23.5.04 - 8.8.06
My white rat Percy, last of three brothers, died this evening about 10 to 7 from heart problems. His passing was peaceful. At the moment I am remembering him as an large and pushy infant rat of 4-5 weeks of age. He and his brothers were born here in this house.
I'd like to say fondly mourned by Henry, Jonas, Nathanial and Ash but I don't think the buggers have even noticed! Rats are like that. Live fast and enjoy your time.
I'll miss you, Percy, with your proximity-alarm eeking if anyone even suggested invading your personal space, picking you up or heaven forbid, administering medical treatment. I remember the vet assuring me that he hadn't actually done anything to you yet...
