I hauled self out of bed at f....k o'çlock this morning even though it's a Sunday, to make sure my sprinkler system ISN'T working, as I believed, before the agents actually send repairers over here [and it's not]. I also read the hugely relieving news that the long wait is done, that the terribly delayed US election result was known. I don't think I've ever been so invested in another country's election before. Seriously, even my mother didn't jump on me when I once said Trump was an arsehole in front of her.
It's not over; we know it's not over, but the major event is done. I may be able to write more lucidly later on, but right now I'm just relieved and I might go back to bed for a bit.
