Books and shows
I just had a look at my Goodreads, realising I had not added Martha Wells' All Systems Red [just reread that in prep for reading the rest. I can really relate to Murderbot.] Not bad, that's 102 books for 2018. The five I have as current reading are my most recent library books, I figure if I have them already listed I'm less likely to forget to add them completely. They'll probably start off 2019. I'm on Goodreads as Alex Isle, my actual name (g) if anyone is curious.
I've only begun Handmaid's Tale, which was finally back in the library. As expected, it got very popular with the advent of the series so I had to wait awhile, but the style is driving me nuts. No " for dialogue and despite the subject, it's moving so slowly it's a great candidate for curing insomnia right now. The Tv series did show just how boring life as a Handmaid was, though; the part about not allowing them to read was physically painful. The Commander basically seduces Offred by giving her a magazine and letting her read it in his office.
Re TV shows (aka the offerings of Netflix and Prime Video) most recently I'm watching the third season of Travelers and also fifth season of Vikings, though haven't got really fannish about anything much at the moment, Those shows are watchable but my grief would be controllable if either of them got cancelled. Since Supernatural killed off Crowley at the end of season 12, I lost interest in watching. I may have a bit of a crush on the King of Hell [stop laughing, Siyamau!] I think while I'm on leave, I must arrange with myself to watch season 13 and what there is of 14, because it'll probably be at least as watchable as Travelers, and I get to see apocalypse-world version of Bobby Singer, so all is not lost. Yes, I also have a thing for Bobby Singer..
Man in the High Castle, which was my reason for doing the free trial of Prime, is really good, in my opinion, and I think that has a fourth season coming up. I could get fannish about that one, I think. Must see what sort of fic is around the traps for that show. My fav character is played by Cary Hiroyuki-Tagawa, who plays Nobusuke Tagomi, the Trade Minister of the Pacific States of America. He's possibly the most decent character on any of the sides and sincerely tries to work for peace. The Japanese have the west, the Germans the east and the middle is a Neutral Zone with Denver as its unofficial capital, which is about as comfortable for everybody as one might expect. Go Denver :-)

I also really wanna get onto watching Vikings.
Let me know what you think of SPN 13 and 14 (I swear, I'm not even slightly laughing... :p) Honestly, if you can wade through 13 (which left me totally cold, hope that's not too much of a spoiler!) then 14 in my opinion is better. And, yeah - there's a lot worth putting up with for Bobby Singer!

I read a lot of books because I seriously don't get out much, like my tag says. If I do, it's generally to go gaming or to catch up with a few friends on a day trip and/or lunch somewhere, that's about it. So I read ém going to and from work, when I eat, before I go to sleep....life, really! I think there's a T-shirt with that slogan, "I Have a Life - it just involves a Lot of Books!"

I am way more in favour of your version with the baby still being a baby though. Absolutely that they aged him up solely to have a new character (and cynically, to have a 'mini Misha' to keep a certain fangirl demographic hooked :\)
I honestly don't know what I do with my time. I guess I write a lot, and I craft a lot. I have no idea where the hours go though!
