More wallowing
I'm writing a post so I will have written something today. The day is mostly a non-event because it's Sunday and I'm bored and low of mood. Trains are off again so I've begged off visiting M today. Sunday travel can take hours if your two means of transport do not link up.
Even that would've been something to do. Yesterday I wasn't well, for reasons that occur more often than I'd like and which I won't dwell on. Unfortunately for my social life, Saturday was also when things were happening, i.e. the boardgaming club, to which I couldn't go. stephen_dedman's housewarming. "Will you be well enough?" M asks.
ME: Ah....yes, that's a week away.
M: Well, I know housewarmings can be boozy affairs.
ME: M, most of us aren't drinkers. *I'm* not a drinker. [I honestly believed M had worked this out after all these years] Sometimes we go wild and eat chocolate.
So far today: out of bed and dressed. Give rats their dry food. Breakfast. Sweep up results of last night's rat party in the living room. Go online. Start washing load of rat laundry. Consider going outside for a walk around. Look outside. Grey and cool. Consider a second mug of tea.
