What eye chart?

Well, I'm headed for cataract surgery as of today.  This has been on the way for awhile, but today I had the actual eye tests and was referred to a specialist.  Surgery could happen in a few months if I'm lucky, or longer than that.  I'll have to decide whether I want glasses-free distance vision or close up vision and it's honestly difficult to decide.  That hasn't been a thing since I was younger than nine.

I guess the good news is I don't have to pay for new glasses just yet;  the optician says no point until we know when the operation can happen.  Meanwhile, my walk-around glasses have also become my computer glasses, since the latter became unwearable just last week.  I'd forgotten to switch them a couple of times and discovered, "Hang on, I can see better with the walk around glasses, that's not meant to happen!"

My mind is sort of full of this news right now so I'm a bit slow responding to other things I'm meant to respond to or do!

In other news, I brought home my new e-bike today, of whom there will be pictures soon.  Hopefully I can get some riding in before I become too much of a hazard on the bike paths!
