The Rat's New Year

 From my pov, year’s beginning has been peaceful.  Not even much disturbance on NYE from the local [two-legged] wildlife.  I didn’t go out for NYE – didn’t know of any events involving friends and by the chat on FB, can deduce most folk I know stayed home as well.

We are not in lockdown but the presence of a mask mandate is discouraging.  For me, anyway;  I will avoid situations where I have to wear one.
