Sure, most summers if not all of them. Perth does this regularly. The highest was 46.2^C back in '92.
3. When and where was the coldest temperature you have ever experienced?
4. Is your household prepared for a possible power outage of two to seven days?
Pretty well. I have an outside barbecue, plenty of wood, a pond (which would need something done to the water to clean it) and a lot of matches. Freezer storage is minimal but food supplies could stretch to a week or more. I can see myself going vegetarian.
5. Do you have a go bag?
Yes, but it needs better supplying. At the moment it's basically the documents and a first aid kit. As Fred says, in most situations I'm better off to survive in place. Remembering to keep enough painkillers etc stocked is actually the most useful benefit when I get sick and I got some other just in case stuff.

Only at quite a distance. Cyclone Tracy hit Darwin when I was a kid and pretty much created instant urban renewal. That was strong enough to be felt in Perth and we got neighbours who were "refugees" from that cyclone.

Probably Canberra in winter, around 2003. A frozen little village masquerading as a capital city.
