Random Sunday babblings
May. 1st, 2016 08:05 pmSorry about the butt-dialling today,
drhoz. I usually have the phone locked; must've forgotten :-)
I think I'm headed for the world's most boring week coming up. Two days at work, third day, flu shot (go home, fall asleep), rinse, repeat. Except not the flu shot. This weekend I spent doing home jobs Saturday, some writing/messing around and Sunday visiting M and playing Scrabble. I also have been binge watching a very intense SYFY original called Helix. I already know it gets cancelled at the end of the season I'm watching, so I hope they at least tie up some of the loose ends. It's got the CDC and a new deadly pathogen and a powerful company with a plan to fix world overpopulation - what's not to like?
Last random observation: I got a t-shirt with "I make stuff up" printed on it, after seeing
stephen_dedman with one the last couple of years. I really liked it, so I wore it to work last Friday. In the lift, this guy from the CPSU got in, saw the shirt and started chortling. "What stuff up did you make?" he asked me.
I am never wearing that shirt near the work building ever again.
All in the inflection, I guess.
