Survived plane ride from helll (ie normal) and was awake for most of 40 hours, I think. Am fine now. Hi to Ann and Ben in Denver. Will see you soon! I am sitting in a large and rather elegant convention centre waiting for Stuff to start, people-watching and just chilling. Haven't seen anyone I know yet. Did meet some nice fans at LAX and shared a cab to the hotel with them yesterday afternoon.
Had a shakeup I didn't need when my Visa card refused to work. I know it is ok because I eventually pulled the money out of an ATM, in $200 lots because it wouldn't hand it out in any larger chunks. Sweated blood for awhile in the Marriott's lobby trying to find a solution; could see self on the streets. Gah. Anyway, am now paid up.
This is a beautiful city, very green and with a lovely small river right by the hotel and this centre. I can see it flowing behind me - am leaning on a floor length window in the main hall. People beginning to gather in larger packs; soon panels to start and dealer's room to open!
