RIP Nikita
May. 12th, 2013 06:50 pmI lost Nikita, one of my little black berkshire rats, today.
He'd had heart problems, but still, didn't expect it. Very sad, as he was only a young adult. One of his litter brothers has problems with that as well, but hopefully the medication is in time to help him. The other litter brother is fine and looks so different I think he's got a different father.
On a slightly more cheerful note, this meant I got to explain a fact of life to my mother that she had no idea about; that this can happen in humans too.
