I think my mother is a vampire

I've been to visit M and as usual, now feel that shooting myself might be an option. I did win one of the Scrabble games. I've noticed that whenever I'm around her, I always end up feeling extremely drained. As an introverted type (gets energy from alone time) as opposed to an extroverted (gets energy from being around other people), being a bit tired after a long social period isn't that unusual. At cons, for example. But the visits are usually only a few hours - I think about five in this case - and I end up exhausted.

Ok, am usually a bit on the defensive because M's idea of "showing an interest" is to ask picky questions, often ones that hit sore spots, but even so, it's an unusual tiredness that results.

Nothing coming up this week that I know about; work, work, day off, shorter work day, work. Hopefully the RPG game on Thursday.
