"It's not Ebola."
Comment from supervisor, getting in lift on Friday, complete with lurgy.
By Monday night, the lurgy had shifted to me.
A cold is a miserable thing. Not sick enough to justify time off - not from the gulag, you're not - so I made it through with paracetamol and Strepsils for the sore throat - and *hopefully* didn't spread it further. Used the hand-sanitiser stuff in the tearoom and didn't handle any telephones.
I'm still sick with it but at least don't have to go in to work today, so I can drip in peace here at home. Being a geek, of course my mind goes to Mira Grant's Feed where a cure for the common cold is found and no one need suffer this, ever again. Of course, the exchange is the walking dead, but you can't iron out every bug. :-)
