Weekend waffle
May. 26th, 2012 10:43 amTired! I've done a lot of work for the day job, not much of anything else. Today I need to answer some stuff for a written interview (favourite kind) and do the general cleanup around here. Maybe some writing - characters have been doing a lot of talking in my head. Is it still hearing voices if they're talking to one another, not to you?
I finally got my okay for long service leave. I'm taking some of it in Sept/October to go to Canberra (Conflux, Floriade, War Museum and anything else that comes to mind) and saving the rest for next year, when I will hopefully have the airfare to the USA saved up :-)
Elijah is still with me, much the same. I think he's headed for heart pills, which is not at all good for an adolescent rat but I think I've got to accept that he is disabled and just try to do the best for him I can while he's here.
When the radio announced that 1.5^C on Thursday, I at first thought I was hallucinating. I hoped I was. I decided it probably wasn't going to get any better over the next half an hour so got out of bed anyway.
Right now, got to go do a food shop. I hope it's warmer outside!
