Rat With Lump
Jun. 23rd, 2011 10:00 pmI just found a lump on one of my rats, on his chest. Low-down, so at first I thought it was another roll of flab. Isaiah is very sweet-natured (he's neutered) but will never be known for his svelte figure. Now I'm doing the guilt thing because this lump is quite large and it's taken me until now to notice!
I've been paying most attention to my elderly rat Edwin and Magnus before him, so anybody not wheezing or disabled has slipped under the radar. These lumps can grow very fast so it may have been there only a matter of days, but he won't stay still enough for me to get a decent look.
This helps me decide which day I'll be going to Supanova. Isaiah will have to see the vet Saturday morning and then have an appointment for surgery asap, but I know they don't do surgery on the weekends.
