Veges, rats and quiz trivia
Oct. 25th, 2009 03:11 pmFinally a chance to relax. Great weather, about 30^C, and all the jobs done for the time being.
I just want to assure folks that although this is being crossposted from Dreamwidth, I read both Dreamwidth and LJ obsessively, so am definitely "here" in both places :-) I noted some concern about this from an LJ-er.

This weekend has been quite busy; Saturday was house jobs and moving piles of prunings to the back shed until such time as a green waste pickup happens. I also played Call of Cthulhu, where I and my character Amy Wells are getting used to strange and horrific encounters. On Sunday, after catching up on sleep, I did a mercy mission around to my friend Lena's house to turn on the aircon for her pet rats and rabbit, since she had gone away not realising how hot it was going to get. Yes, we are mad. Unashamedly so.
I'm still considering whether I will do NaNoWriMo. There is the fact that I don't have a clear idea of what to write about. A couple of clues, yes, but not 50,000 words worth. If anyone out there has something they'd LIKE me to attempt, by all means put your oar in. I may or may not do it and I may or may not let you see it if I do, depending upon the result!
