Virus warning
Apr. 1st, 2009 07:52 pmI just saw that
girliejones has posted a warning about a trojan virus on the ASif site. This reminded me that a couple of days ago I decided to click on to Scott Westerfeld's site to see what he was doing and my antivirus system warned me there was a virus there and I'd get it if I continued.
I guess I'll find out somehow if Scott W has written anything new.
Other news: not much. Work went mad, giving me a taste of what I'll be in for if daylight saving is rejected. On a personal front, I'm not a fan but when three hours stretches between us and the east and we have to get transcripts back to 'em by the end of *their* day, waah, tense. I got asked to come in early yesterday so I did, half an hour but that wasn't enough, I was still there an hour past time. Why on earth do they have a week overlap? It's nuts. They could've extended the DS test period a week here; there wouldn't have been that much more bitching and it would have made sense.
So today was recovery time; the typing arms not good for much at all. I'm still rather bleh but find that I feel better when I'm exhausted or rather, it's masked. Which does the job. People advise when you're depressed, better to get out and see people, not get stuck alone but there's not much choice in that when you live on your own and everyone you know seems frantically busy. Maybe after Swancon. Everything is now "after Swancon!"
