I think my 18 months of ju jitsu gave me an edge, at least according to this meme or perhaps choosing to be on the top bunk was the correct decision?
I'm doing memes. Life must be quiet. In fact, work went crazy on Thursday; they were so busy that my boss rang up and begged, it being a day off for me. I went in, which was a good thing, since today work ran out at lunch-time. Go figure.
I decided I could use the extra money, since my precious little ratty fuzzbutts had to go to the vet and those drugs are not cheap. Nor will the rats agree to go out to work to pay for their medications, even though they are now much livelier and have stopped wheezing and crackling. They also can use their hands, almost have opposable thumbs and have experience handling humans.
I foresee a quiet weekend. Yes, I know various events are on but they don't draw me. If I was on any panels at the KSP mini-con, that would be different, but though it would be pleasant to see the people, I don't feel I need to attend as a student, as it were. I've thought about whether I would seem arrogant saying that and I hope not, I believe it's the truth at least re short fiction. Novels are another matter but I have to work on that for myself.
