A workmate said to me the other day, "You've got a lot of mates, haven't you? Could you see if one of them wants a dog?"
It was a bit difficult to explain that I never see most of these "mates" as they're online so I just said OK, I'll post the details to my journal.
Her daughter is going overseas and needs somebody to look after her dog. First this was going to be permanently and then she decided she only needed a carer for six months while she got established in the UK.
Penfold, said canine, is a 3-year-old part-greyhound with a beige coat, a gentle temperament and who likes cats. The owner has promised to pay any and all vet costs incurred by Penfold, plus food expenses.
If anyone in Perth is interested or even knows of a really good kennel/dog fosterer, could they please get in touch with me and I'll pass the details on.
