Back From Swancon

Not yet a con review! Got home, got sleep. Sorry it's all over but couldn't have survived another day :-)

Major point was my book Nightsiders getting launched. It seemed to do well, I talked about it to several people and signed it and even did a WTV interview about it. So yes, very pleased about that.

The rats are well and seem to have forgiven me for my absence. Elliott (large, white, pushy) was allowed back into the society of his fellow rats, but woke me up at 2am harassing Magnus, senior rat. Or rather, I think the eeking was Magnus demanding rescue. Elliott back in solitary confinement until morning.

Yes, I'm home.

More later!

Nightsiders rocks!

Have you considered releasing a rpging supplement?

Hadn't actually but yeah, it'd make a good post apocalypse scenario....hm.

It was a pleasure spending so much of the con with you, eating, drinking, discussing the rats and other such - many thanks, Sue!

I'm not quite ready for the con report yet, myself, though there's plenty to say of my adventures in Perth.

Spent today reading, shopping for bread (FINALLY!), meeting my Mum and washing clothes. I also played around with a basic book trailer for Wolfborn, having never done it before and wanting my students to do a book trailer. I've only recently got a new computer and still experimenting. Never mind - when I've shown the kids mine and they've had a good giggle over the crappy quality, I expect them to do much better with theirs. :-) Then we can have a book trailer festival, maybe, for Children's Book Week.
