Angelina rules

Right now, my neighbour Mal and myself are being outsmarted by a chook. His chook, Angelina, who has found her way past the barricades on the fence into my garden....

I don't mind her, exactly, but my yard isn't chook-secure and we don't want her getting splatted on the road. Of course, she may have been working out the road rules in her spare time. I've just been out there making some additions to the back fence. NOW beat that, girl!

Mal's other chooks are named Paris and Madonna (Madge to her friends). They occasionally follow Angelina into mischief but she's the ringleader. Overhearing Mal reading the riot act to Angelina not long ago was one of the funniest things I ever heard. I don't think she listened.
