I will most likely be offline for a week while I go to Conflux convention in Canberra. Feel free to write but I won't be trying very hard to look at email until I get back :-)
I woke to the sound of rain last night and cursed futilely, as I'd decided the washing would probably be safe until morning, including a couple of my better shirts I want to take to the con. Oh well. Maybe I can put the damp things in a plastic bag or something to travel over? There's also been or is a fire somewhere; lot of spooky smoke/fog mixing with sunlight trying to get through.
My precious boys are going to stay with rat-owning friends but they don't know it yet. I will probably be besieged with complaints that I've made them stay in a room with RATS in it. They're sometimes a bit confused about their own species.

My kitty Dervish also, I'm sure, isn't aware that she is a cat. Which makes Sniffles' friendly overtures get rebuffed with a look of "what did you think I was anyway?"
