Hugo Awards

I'm belatedly reminded that I have a nomination vote for the Hugos. This can be frustrating, since I often haven't read the best books by the time the nominations close and also that they're usually American, so that my favourite Aussie book doesn't stand a chance. I don't stay up enough with the short fiction to be able to vote there.

Anyway, if anyone's got some recommendations, let me know.
