News from the mischief*

I still have my boarders, William and Benny, with their rabbit room-mate Hoppy. I'm feeling rather as though I run a rat hotel, because *new* boarders will be arriving next week, better behaved ones than William, who's punctured me three times. These are two girl rats who have stayed here before. This sort of boarding happens a lot with rat owners as we find no one else really understands the rat obsession or knows how to medicate a possibly reluctant rodent.

The other two arrivals will be permanents. My four rats are all elderly and though in okay shape now, this can change quickly. I'm getting two little eight-week-old boy rats from one of the rescues, young enough to be accepted easily and taught how to be rats. This will probably involve a fair bit of knocking them over and sitting on them. [By the rats, not me!] Coconut in particular should be happy to have playmates smaller than she is.

Welcome to the new little ones! They couldn't be coming to a better home, though I expect your lot might make them question this for a while.

Hope Coconut enjoys having some girl company for a bit, too.
