So what is everyone else doing?

I'm still sick. Didn't think it would last this long, it's mild but insidious. I'm now worried about maybe missing time off work. Can sit at screen for awhile and type but at speed for 7 hours? Don't know about that.

I feel it ought to be cold and grey weather to go with my ailment, but no, it's one of Perth's best days. Did manage to keep a date with friends to go to a Chinese restaurant but not much appetite, which was a pity. This is a good restaurant; one smells its food wafting into the gym next door when one is on the treadmill :-)

I'm also running out of things to read. Got a copy of James Blish's Doctor Mirabilis from the local Guildford Book Exchange, which I've only read once before, many years ago, but that's it. Not as crucial, perhaps, as running out of food except, since I'm not much interested in food right now, two lamb chops, some baked beans and apples are probably going to last me longer than normal. The rats' rations are also running down, which they will definitely see as crucial. They will then lobby for the chops to be handed over.

I had other things to blog about, which are now lost in the fog of my mind. I will be back!
